I really appreciated your post on clutter. I still have it open in my browser to read again and make notes. Looking forward to reading more of your posts too!

I'm also not a huge fan of "multi-passionate." For some reason it just feels disingenuous to me. So I go with "multifaceted" creative - and I made that the whole theme (and title) of my Substack! ✨

I love multifaceted! I've been trying to find a new descriptor for a while, I don't think people jibe with multi-passionate. There's also multi-potentialite, but that just sounds too pretentious somehow....

Right! I love the whole online community of multipotentialites but like, nobody outside of that has any clue what that means. 😆 We need some new words!!

Thanks! I like your idea of multi-directional too, that feels very true for my trajectory ☺️

I just love reading about people who also flow between a variety of creative activities. Currently sewing a new pair of pants, but also thinking that it would be nice to make a sketch of my sewing setup.

U have read a few of those fantasy series but I definitely missed N.K. Jemisin’s Broken Earth trilogy on that best of fantasy series list. One of my favourites. Have you read it yet?

And thank you for the mention! Have you started your fountain pen sketch yet?

I have N.K. Jemison's The Fifth Season, The Inheritance Trilogy, and The City We Became on my Kindle. As well as her short story collection How Long Til Black Future Month, which I read in February. I need to start another!

I haven't sketched yet, today I started prepping a sewing pattern for a summer dress, then since I was in a sewing mood, I decided to cut out a top too! But my sketchbooks are calling. I love the idea of sketching your sewing set-up!

Multi-skilled is a good descriptor! I've also heard multi-directional, which I feel is a good fit for me.
