Last week in 5 Things for the Weekend, I wrote about how keeping things simple has been helping me to stick to my daily journaling practice (I’m still going strong!)
This is an idea that I have believed in for some time, I also wrote about it here, interestingly enough about the same effort of developing a daily journaling practice. You might realise that the former practice I spoke of here, didn’t stick, and it speaks to the other idea that I have been talking about which is staying curious.
Being willing to try new things is what has helped me develop core habits like bullet journaling, and making my monthly word birds. But more on that in a bit. Back to the journaling.
I have tried a number of different ways to develop a daily journaling practice: morning pages, gratitude pages, daily Tarot journaling, list journaling…. if someone raved about it I’ve probably tried it. None of them stuck, until the method I’m using now, which came from Austin Kleon.
