A short note today to give you a gentle nudge if needed. How are you getting on in your Word of the Year journaling for December? I’d love to hear from you, so feel free to reply, comment or drop into the chat.
What has sparked joy for you this month?
Self-Care Prompt(s)
In our last month of 2023, I am encouraging you to use one or more of the following prompts during the last two weeks of the year.
We're gonna steal and adapt the mantra from Marie Kondo and assess everything on our to-do list to decide which will truly bring joy - either to yourself or others.
Then with this in mind, be serious about the time and physical and emotional energy needed to complete the tasks. This is me giving you permission to drop the things that just won't be worth it, and lean in to the few precious projects and activities that have meaning for you and your loved ones.
At the end of each day (if possible) reflect and make a note, or journal, or a scrapbook page about whatever brought you joy today.
A Message for December
I’m introducing the monthly Voice Note as part of the Journal Your Word Workshop as explained in my recent letter about plans for 2024. I’ll be keeping these notes below five minutes, and they will accompany the Nudge emails in the middle of the month.
