With Love, Meghan on Netflix
I’ve only watched two episodes so far, but the show is reminding me of how much I enjoy simple pleasures like meals made from scratch, using fresh ingredients, making thoughtful gifts, and elevating the everyday. I’m inspired to share more creative lifestyle content with you. A lot of what the show talks about aligns with my creative simplicity tenets.
Older Projects
As I clear and declutter my office and studio, I’m coming across some older art and craft projects, that are making me want to get back to the kind of creating I used to do. Many of these projects were just me trying things out, and now I want to use some of those ideas and develop them more.
Note-Taking and Annotating Books
I’ve fallen down a bit of a rabbit hole on Substack, reading posts all about how to take better notes, be able to find those notes, as well as annotating books while you read. I’m slowly absorbing it all, and using bits and pieces to come up with my own way of doing things.
The 100 Day Project
Not just my own project which I am really enjoying, but also the creative wave that’s been created by seeing other people’s projects, and also how the respective creators are interpreting and sharing their work. My creative synapses are crackling!
Seeing the Earth Waking Up from Winter
There are undeniable signs that Spring is upon us here: my tree peony is full of new leaves and buds, my perennial peonies are starting to emerge from the earth, trees are bursting into bloom, and daffodils are popping up everywhere. There’s a fresh energy in the air, and I’m excited about the change in the season, and starting my garden.
What things are inspiring you in this moment?
Our clocks went forward and having daylight when I leave work motivates me to want to do more when I get home in the evenings, this also means that spring is right around the corner. I am also enjoying my 100 day project and it is inspiring me to want to get more into watercolors. I am also organizing my knitting queue on Ravelry and rediscovering some great patterns that I want to make for spring and summer. Also thanks for the reminder to watch With Love, Meghan 😊
