“Let’s start at the very beginning, it’s a very good place to start” - The Sound of Music
Hello friend,
Our theme for January is “Begin”. Let’s use January as a transition period between the years. I used to be very stressed about having things like my word of the year, all my goals and plans, and my bullet journal ready to go on December 31st, but found that this only created anxiety, and prevented me from enjoying the end of year season. So although I start the process in December, I give myself the better part of January to cross my t’s and dot my i’s.
I also want you to remember that this is a process, and as the year goes on we’ll be tweaking, revising and iterating, so go easy on yourself, and use this time to be mindful and intentional.
Let’s go…..
Before we get to the nitty-gritty of our monthly journaling, let’s start by focusing deeply on our word over the next few days. This is the start of the process of living your word meaningfully this year. Read through the prompts carefully, then get out your notebook and pen, and complete the steps.
