finding joy in the blah days

Hello friend,

Full disclosure: it was tough to hang in during February because it was dark, and rainy, and cold. The two weeks of winter break fell then, which meant no art or percussion class, and they were sorely missed. But I still found sparks of joy throughout the month, and can look back with a smile.

• spying new buds on my tree peonies

• enough sunshine one day to prune my rose bushes

• eating fried plantain

• the cats. Always

• taking part in the Fiberuary Challenge

• starting the 100 Day Project

• getting books for Book Giving Day

• spending time with my son while doing his canerows

• finishing my first Sophie Scarf

• delicious wedding anniversary dinner

• fish tacos
