Caribbean Literature Book Club
Welcome to the Callaloo Collective Caribbean Lit Book Club! A club devoted to exploring literary fiction by Caribbean authors.
We’ll read and discuss books quarterly, so four books a year total. We start in June for 2025, which means we’ll be reading two books for the rest of this year.
The format of the club will be as follows:
All content/discussions will be delivered via e-mail, the app, and the chat.
You’ll get adequate notice of the upcoming book, at least two months ahead of the date set for the discussion.
During the reading period, you’ll get periodic notes from me (via chat) with information/tidbits related to the book.
I’ll send a review of the book one week before the discussion date.
On the discussion date, I’ll post questions in the Substack chat. You’re free to respond at the appointed time, or later.
