5 things for the weekend 25.17
Expressive painting, dancing with creativity, booker short list films, what reading tells us, sustainable knitting
I’ve been under the weather for the past week or so with a cold that seemed to come out of nowhere. In fact the last lucid thing I remember doing was writing last week’s letter. Since then I’ve been in a sort of a fever dream of knitting, binge watching TV, and sleeping, which was possible since we’re on our Spring break.
I’m coming up from under now, and with some sunshine finally back, am feeling motivated to work on the backyard and patio, as well as jumping back in to my projects that fell off my plate in the last 10 days.
I hope you’re doing well!
5 Things
1. Enjoy watching this process video of expressive abstract painting with Shinjini.
2. Helen Hallows writes about feeling disconnected from her creativity, and how she got back to dancing with it again.
3. The Booker Prizes has produced a series of short films featuring the International Short List of books.
4. What does our reading, not just what we read, but when, and how much, tell us?
5. We’re fresh of World Environment Day, so I appreciated this piece by Louise on making knitting more sustainable.
