5 things for the weekend 25.13
on keeping a desk, 109 books to read, intarsia tutorial, a day in the life, one-pot pasta (yes, that one)
I’m leaning more and more into my quirks and preferences these days. My word for the year has emboldened me (pun fully intended), to express myself more fully, and surround myself with more of the things that I love.
I’m currently giggling to myself as I think about an idea showcasing just that that’s I’ll be sharing soon. Something totally silly but wholly delightful.
What are you embracing about yourself these days?
5 Things
1. How do you keep your desk? lately I’ve been paying more attention to keeping my two main working desks organised as well as interesting by adding things that do the former, as well as making me smile when I sit there. I loved this article about just that!
2. Here we go with another book list! 109 suggestions for books to read this year from the BBC.
3. One of my next knitting projects will be a Spring vest made with the Intarsia technique, so I’ll be checking out this tutorial from PomPom mag to get started.
4. Ever wonder how an audiobook narrator organises their day? You can find out here.
5. If you want to try Meghan Sussex’s One Pot Pasta without having to go rewatch that episode, try this link which gives a pretty good recipe. It’s what I used to make my lunches last week!

“Between them, our parents had about seven thousand books. Whenever we moved to a new house, a carpenter would build a quarter of a mile of shelves; whenever we left, the new owners would rip them out.”
