5 things for the weekend 25.11
more energy, craft a cosy home, visual journaling, coconut macaroons, make a zine
My first weekend after going back out to work is going to be a mostly relaxing one. I’ll spend most of Saturday at a special practice session for the batucada (but I enjoy it so much it’s relaxing!), and on Sunday I am looking forward to a cosy day. I plan to sleep in, eat a yummy breakfast, and then get crafty. With pauses for reading.
What are your weekend plans?
5 Things
1. The first sentence of this article pulled me in, because I do wake up most days and wonder why I’m waking up tired. If this is you too you might get some useful info from these 10 tips for more energy.
2. I feel like I’ve been trying to build a cosy home for a number of years. Lots of times I get home in the evenings and I definitely feel that vibe, but sometimes I also think that something is missing. These ideas will definitely help! I especially love that she included thrifty options for all the suggestions.
3. Now that I am working with watercolour every day for my 100 Day project, I am falling back in love, and want to use it for all the things! I loved this post about visual journaling in a sketchbook, and it sparked an idea of how I can do some documenting.
4. I adore all things coconut. I have fond memories of coconut ice-cream (I miss it!), and so this recipe for coconut macaroons is an absolute yes!
5. The universe is definitely telling me that I need to get back to making zines. And guess what, so should you!

Yes to your Zines. They were so fun. I needed that article about energy. Daylight savings had been kicking my butt. Some of those ideas will help to get me back to my morning routine.
According to the coffee comic I’m a geriatric Italian, but in real life, I love a moka pot bc I’m an island gyal 😂
