I’m coming up for air after a very busy week of getting things finished for deadlines. I completely underestimated the time it would take to get some projects finished, which just goes to show that being an organised crafterbrain doesn’t mean it all goes perfectly! Luckily I was able to easily look at everything I had going on, to decide what could wait, and how to shuffle things around. (that’s why this email is being sent on Saturday, it’s still the weekend after all!).
My plan for the rest of the weekend is to set-up my planners and bullet journal for March, and get caught up on a few small things that fell through the cracks.
How is your first weekend of March going?
5 Things
1. When deciding on a show to watch together recently, my son suggested Gilmore Girls. I said yes of course, and I am surprised at how much he is enjoying it! it’s definitely a kind of comfort food.
2. Viv Groskop of The Guardian asks, “Have the Dutch found the answer to burn out culture with niksen, the art of doing nothing?”
3. You can’t go wrong with a good roasted chicken, and Eater magazine claims to have found the best recipe.
4. We have access to pretty much every spice we need (and our spice drawers are stuffed!), but if you’re in the US and looking for a good online shop for hard to find spices, try these suggestions.
5. Whether you want to visit New York City literally or figuratively, you’ll find a great read about the Big Apple in this extensive list of 130.
