5 things for the weekend 23.25
stuffed peppers, books for men, beat procrastination, book club, creativity
We’ve come to the end of the 30 Days of Craft Nerdiness Challenge, and I am reflecting on what a full month it has been. We had a small core group who played along every day which totally warmed my heart! I feel like I’ve met some new kindred spirits who feel the same way I do about crafts, making, books, and being nerdy. it’s truly been a blast.
If you didn’t play along this time no worries! You can check out the hashtag here, jump into share your stuff on Instagram, and stay tuned for the next challenge coming in December.
5 Things
1. Is your creative space a studio or a workshop? What’s the difference between the two? Find that out as well as the root of the word studio.
2. Got peppers? Stuff them with these 26 enticing and delicious ideas. I can see this being a fun “stuff your own pepper” party!
3. What can you do to foster your creativity? Some of these ideas, one taken from Johan Sebastian Bach, might surprise you.
4. What books written by women should men read? These eminent male authors have some excellent suggestions.
5. I struggle with procrastination (some of you might have noticed this letter is late this week!), and am always looking for ways to improve. One simple solution is to just get started. Which I know already of course, but it’s good to read it again in this discussion excerpted from a podcast.
