5 things for the weekend 23.24
breaking routine, free crochet pattern, apricot crisp, art retreat, summer photo list
Sometimes your life needs a good shaking up. I got that is a good way this week, when a dear friend of over 30 years that I haven’t seen in nine, came on an impromptu visit with her partner. They got me completely out of my homebody comfort zone and out hiking, kayaking, and generally enjoying nature and and more available in my very own backyard. After living here for over ten years, I still hadn’t visited the most famous natural site here, the Vallon Pont d’Arc seen above. I’m reminded that while routine can be a good thing, it’s also beneficial to get out of it every so ofen and see the world from a whole new perspective.
