5 things for the weekend 23.22
best summer drink, free knitting pattern book club, kurt vonnegut's art
Summer plans are coming together. My son and I are looking forward to playing batucada on June 21st for the annual Fete de la Musique. We’re taking advantage of the lazy, hazy, easy, breezy days as much as possible. Gearing up for an extended summer travel with family. Working on making the outdoor areas pleasant for hanging out. Com piling long books to read, and movies to watch lists. Not to mention all the summertime eats and drinks on our meal plan. Yep, it’s my favourite time of year.
5 Things
1. Did you know that Kurt Vonnegut also made art? Here are some of his whimsical doodles.
2. Since discovering “tinto de vearano” in Spain in 2017, it has become my official summer drink. This recipe purports to be the best one.
3. Feel like having an artsy weekend? Try some of these free classes on makings and Musings.
4. I’m pulling together my summer wardrobe and I definitely want it to include some Me Made pieces like this simple knitted tee. The 34” bust size pattern is free!
5. Calling all planner addicts! The Planner Prop Summit starts June 12th. The lineup includes free sessions from over 30 planning professionals.
