5 things for the weekend 23.16
meaningful self-care, spring cocktail, studio clear out, free art challenge
With more sunlight starting to stream through the windows, I am moved to straighten up, declutter, and refresh our living and working spaces. With a new set of bookshelves we acquired, we’ve been able to start that process, and now finally most of our books have a permanent home. That sparked a reorganisation of the sitting room, and it would appear that Miss Nibs approves, despite her despite expression here. The sorting out continues, but I am well on my way!
5 Things
1. Got five minutes? use it to do some art! Get the free five-minute challenge prompts from the Ugly Art Club.
2. If your typical self-care practices leave you still feeling unfulfilled, you might need to actually practice eudaimonic wellbeing. You can learn more here.
3. It’s terrace and patio season! Try this twist on your regular gin and tonic.
4. This audio adaptation of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, will be a treat for audiobook lovers.
5. It’s Spring Cleaning Season, and our creative spaces deserve some love too. Sign up for the Studio Clear Out Challenge with Amy Maricle. It starts on May 15th.

What are you doING?
“Yes, we believe in the beach. We have always believed in the beach. Beaches are places of baptisms and funerals. Of bacchanal but also of solitude. But we did not consider the sea itself.”
