5 things for the weekend 23.05
february calendar, remembering book plots, magic drawing pen, home care is self-care
On my mind in this brand new month is habit. Which I realise is related to my recent musings on deliberate practice, because for the practice to happen, it takes developing some good habits.
Yesterday I posted on Instagram about my fiber related projects for the Fiberuary Challenge, and it hit me that it will take finetuning my habits to make my plans a reality. Funny how writing things down makes them a stark reality!
So over the next four weeks I will be building regular art and crafting habits into my schedule.
What habit do you want to work on this month?
5 Things
1. Iโve mentioned before that I always believed I couldnโt draw, and I know many people that feel that way. it turns out that all you need is a magic pen!
2. We talk a lot about self-care, but what about home care? And how are the two related? Here are five ways to look after your home and yourself.
3. Why do we forget most of the books we read? Not to mention the TV shows and movies? This round-up of articles takes a look at memory and how we can improve it.
4. Itโs only February, so that means we still have a lot of motivation and momentum for setting goals and intentions. Right? Take a gander at six ways to become a better human.
5. This month we celebrate Black History, and MasterClass is giving everyone free access to stream their Black History, Freedom, & Love class
