5 things for the weekend 22.6
routine as spirituality, charcuterie boards, and starting the garden.
Books and crafts. Journaling. Capturing life in photos. This sums up my February so far. Add to this the pleasant surprise of it starting to warm up, and I am in a good place right now. (Gotta put a “knock on wood” caveat on that one.) I’m about to pull out mt garden planner, and seeds because I must make sense of my outdoor space this year. It has been sadly neglected since the start of the pandemic, and I feel the urge to get back out there.
What’s on your mind these days?
5 Things
1. Entertaining this weekend? (I hear there’s some kind of big event Stateside? ;)) try one, or more of these charcuterie boards.
2. Maybe your plan for this weekend includes a large craft project? if it involves granny squares check out this tutorial for joining them as you go.
3. Last year I listened to Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, and now I need to learn more about her. There’s a great project for that right here.
4. Take a Walk through The Metropolitan Museum of Art with Min Jin lee, the author of Pachinko
5. Could your daily routines be a spiritual practice? Let’s explore that idea.
