5 things for the weekend 22.44
caramel cream cake, christmas movie tracker, cookie tray ideas, book club news
I’m currently revelling in the two community projects that I’m taking part in this month. The first is my own CraftVent, the other is Susannah Conway’s December Reflections. I made the decision to ease up on the hustle this month, and just truly soak in and enjoy being a part of the creative community and I have no regrets! I am also loving all the creative time I am making space for as I finish up my handmade gifts, and other craft projects. Our weather has been dismal of late, and I am reminded that creativity and connection are the joyful spots in this season of darker months. Hoping that you are also making the most of this slower time of year.
5 Things
1. If you’re making or buying (or receiving!) cookies this month, spruce up their presentation with one of these cookie tray ideas.
2. My friend Didi aka Brown Girl Reading, (hey girl!) is doing Vlogmas this year, and is sharing daily videos about books, crafting, journals, and all things creative! It’s been such fun so far.
3. Bailey’s Irish Caramel Cream Cake? Yes, please!
4. What Christmas movies are you watching this yea? Keep track with this free printable list.
5. Create a peaceful Winter scene to use on your greeting cards, using stamps and ink blending.
