5 things for the weekend 22.43
finish your online classes, make a portable booklet, bake cookies, and plan your creative year
It’s the start of one of my favourite times of the year! I am so looking forward to this month of joy and fun. I have treated us to a variety of Advent Calendars, as we really enjoy the lead up to the big day. I am remaining intentional about not becoming swept up and distracted by all the shiny objects, and only partaking in the projects that are truly meaningful to me. With our short dark days, I am fully embracing hygge, so it’s fairy lights and candles everywhere to promote cheer. And lots of mugs of tea!
I hope that you will remember to slow down this month, and truly bask in the lovely moments this season has to offer.

5 Things
1. Make yourself some Earl Grey shortbread cookies to have with your favourite December beverage.
2. A book that explains everything about cooking? It does exist! And I guarantee that it’s extremely helpful.
3. Got a backlog of unfinished art classes? Amy Maricle has a free class to help you get them sorted.
4. Have you ever given up reading fiction. (I personally can’t imagine it). Jean Kuo Lee talks about her experience.
5. If you don’t want to carry a heavy notebook while out, use Pocketmod to generate a free printable template to make a small booklet you can tuck in your purse.
