This is it people. It’s time to get the Holidays planned. No more procrastination, especially on things like cards and Advent Calendars. I’m just about at the point of getting my cards done: I am ordering from a print service this year. If you need some support, sign up for my free class and get them done and dusted!
I’m starting to feel like I am behind on gift making, but I’m trusting that my early planning will pay off, and that I am actually on track. I think the explosion of Christmas related posts online starting November 1st is making my panicky, but I think that since I have been working on my plans since October, that I am actually in a good place.
How about you? What help and support do you need?
5 Things
1. I think every Saturday being candy day is a practice that should be instituted everywhere.
2. Sometimes all you need is a really satisfying short novel.
3. I think I’ve found my lunch prep meal for the upcoming week in this crustless spinach and mushroom quiche.
4. Here’s a concise explanation of why we clutter, with practical tips on how to solve it.
5. This gorgeous pompom wreath is just what I need to use up my yarn stash, and make something I can treasure.
News from the Callaloo Collective
I’m so excited to introduce the Modern Makers Membership. Delivered through Patreon, the monthly membership is perfect for creative people looking for regular support for their creative life.
You'll find support, inspiration, and resources for making time and space for your art, craft, and DIY projects.
If you find that you just can't seem to finish, or even start a creative project, I am here to help.
You'll learn how to get clear about what you want to make, prioritise your projects, and organise your stuff, so that you can fit projects in along with everything else you have going on.
You can choose your level of involvement based on your available time and budget:
Lounge: Hang out in the lounge for inspiration and motivation
Community: Hop into the community for monthly focus themes, printable resources, project planning help, and a starter class
Society: Join the society for all of the above, plus a paperback craft project planner, monthly working sessions, quarterly classes and special perks.
Each level gets access to the private group to get support, inspiration, or just hang out with other creatives.
