Why is January such an incredibly long month? On the one hand, I appreciate it, because it feels like I have lots of time to work on my yearly planning. But on the other hand, can we please get closer to Spring already? It’s been abnormally cold where I am lately, which makes me grumpy, but I have also been grateful for lots of sunshine, especially as it comes streaming though our living room windows for a good part of the day. What little things are making you smile right now?
5 Things
1. February is Embroidery Month, and I am getting set up this weekend to join in this Embroidery Bingo project. It’s such a clever way to learn or practise some stitches.
2. Um, a mash up of Hamilton and Elmo? Yes, please!
3. Have you heard of or tried neurographic drawing? I am very intrigued!
4. My growing adolescent loves meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and I love my InstantPot, so this recipe is a match made in heaven.
5. This year The 100 Day Project starts on February 13th? Are you joining in?

Thanks! I really enjoyed trying the Neurographic drawing.
We have IP and this recipe sounds great!! Don't have the bundt pan though, so we'd have to improvise. I've not heard of neurographic drawing before, but apparently I have seen it and didn't know it. The process is fascinating. Maybe I'll give it a go to a) fill up an almost completed journal and b) to try to lower my cortisol levels. Just from what I've seen so far after following the link, it seems like it might help. Still thinking about the 100 days project, I never seem to get passed the first couple of days not to mention I have a hard time even picking a project. Thanks for the reminder that it was coming up.
