5 things for the weekend 22.1
free printables, book club discussion, hot chocolate, decluttering
My first make of the year! The Meet Cute Mitts lounging next to my new crafty bullet journal. Which I have yet to set up. More on that coming soon! Along with knitting, I have jumped straight into my reading, in three different formats. Currently finishing One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest in paper for our meeting on Sunday. Recently started The Shadow of the Wind on Kindle, and am listening to Neil Gaiman’s Sandman, which has a full cast, and sound effects, and reminds me of one of those old radio shows. I’m feeling pretty happy about the first week of January as far as my passions go.
How about you?
5 Things
1. I really like this suggestion from Apartment Therapy for handling one important bit of decluttering. This is one of their daily assignments from their January Cure series.
2. Here’s a yummy twist on hot chocolate for those chilly days!
3. My friend Amy talks about her 2021 reads, and the three books that she loved most.
4. Home décor is high on my list this year (I’m putting finally finishing our renovations out into the universe), and I am really inspired by this TEDx Talk from Broadway set designer David Korins.
5. If you’re still working on setting up your year, check out YearCompass - a free downloadable booklet to help you reflect and plan.
