5 things for the weekend 21.12
notebooks for readers and creatives, road trip audio books, and ice box cake
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: write it down. I’ll keep repeating it, because sometimes I don’t follow my own advice, and just this week, I lost an idea, and I’m kicking myself. We think we’ll remember that date, appointment, that quote, that great idea, but with all the information we consume these days, it’s easy for things to slip away. That’s why my notebook game is so strong!
5 Things
1. I’m currently working on this Endless Summer Crochet Tank. The pattern is free!
2. Fredrik Backman, the author of our November book club read Anxious People, talks about The Importance of a Thinking Routine.
3. Watch Samantha make raspberry icebox cake starting with store bought ginger cookies.
4. Vogue editors recommend 7 great audio books for long drives.
5. A little physical activity can trigger a mental makeover: a happiness hack.

I’m so excited about these! I’ve been designing printables for a number of years now, and am over the moon to be able to offer my designs in paperback paper versions. More designs will be added each week!
Have a good one, and remember: write it down.
Oh I love the tank top!! I have trouble reading patterns, but I think I can do this one. I will have to dig through my yarn stash and see if I have anything suitable.
I'm sorry you lost your idea. I do hope you find it again. I've been trying to up my notebook game because I lose my train of thought too easily these days. And if I don't write it down in the moment, even if it's just on the nearest scrap of paper, there is a good chance I'll forget.
Have a wonderful weekend.
